The Emmons County ALS Ambulance Service is hiring paramedics for Full Time, Part Time, and PRN staffing of its ambulances. The Emmons County ALS Ambulance is located in central Emmons County North Dakota and responds to all 911 emergencies in Emmons County. Our service area covers approximately 1500 square miles with a population of approximately 4,500 people. We are located minutes from the Missouri River Recreation Area and enjoy some of the best hunting and fishing in North Dakota. Emmons County ALS Ambulance has standing orders that give you the freedom to treat your patients appropriately. Emmons County ALS Ambulance offers two new ambulances that are both stocked equally with the latest and greatest equipment available. Some of which include Lucas CPR Devices, EZ-IO’s, Vents, Life Pak 15’s, Video Laryngoscopes, CAD system and more. Emmons County ALS Ambulance is based at the Linton Hospital and staff works closely with the hospital doing a variety of tasks when not on ambulance calls. We have volunteer EMT’s working directly with the paramedic on shift. Full time hours are equivalent to 40 hours per week, working five 8 hours days along with call time during the week and weekends. The Emmons County ALS Ambulance answers approximately 400 calls per year with approximately half being transfers to larger facilities that are an hour or more away.

Linton Hospital has a current opening for a full time registered US/Radiology Technologist to perform general and echocardiography exams in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography standards along with taking a rotation of weeknight/weekend call while performing general radiology and CT exams. CT experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications and Experience: Demonstrate current competency and skills by documentation of BS, AS degree, or certification in cardiovascular ultrasound (ARDMS or CCI) along with current registration through ARRT, CPR/BLS certification, and State License-Sonographer-North Dakota (NDMIRT) license. Preferably a minimum of one year of US experience including cardiac.
Responsibilities: Duties consist of producing quality diagnostic images while ensuring superior patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality in all areas. Hours include day shift and rotation of weeknight/weekend call. Equal opportunity employer.
