The Emmons County ALS Ambulance will be hosting an EMT Class starting on November 9th at 6:30 pm. Class will be held weekly on Tuesday evenings until May 1st, 2022. Training includes: CPR, taking care of medical and trauma patients, and ambulance operations.
The Emmons County Ambulance and Strasburg First Responders are in desperate need of EMTs. Both services are down to just a few members to take call and need help to strengthen the current staff levels. If you take the EMT class you are under no obligation to join either of the services. EMT students must be 16 years old by May 1th, 2022 in order to test due to state regulations. If you would like to take the class or would like more information please contact Nolan Anderson at the Linton Hospital – 701-254-4511.
